1. Compatibility Issue

The first thing that you will have to be cautious about is compatibility, and you will unquestionably need to make certain that you are getting things done correctly without having to deal with any troubles or problems.

The various devices are linked to one another, and the fact that the Nux B2 provides its users with both a transmitter and a receiver at the same time is a big help in ensuring that everything runs smoothly.

However, the size of the jack is 6.3 millimeters, and you can find it on the vast majority of guitars and other available pieces of professional equipment.

You will, however, need to be careful that you are receiving it if you can use the 6.3 mm port because some personal computers do not utilize the same port as others do.

There is a remedy for this, and you can acquire a converter that will convert the jack to any size of the port on your audio equipment.

This should assist you in ensuring that everything works out as it should, and you will not have to deal with the issue of compatibility at any point.

2. Audio Quality

Another area in which you will need to exercise extra caution is with regard to the audio quality.

Nux B2 only supports 32-bit audio, not 64-bit or higher, so if you want to use it for extensive editing or electronic dance music, it might not be the best choice for you to go for any devices or equipment that don’t support high-quality audio

However, if you don’t need high-quality audio support, Nux B2 is an excellent choice.

You can use it for all of these applications without having to worry about a single thing at all since it will get you the perfection of moving around or having fewer cables to manage in the studio.

At the same time, you can play the guitar as well without encountering any problems of this nature.

However, for a regular playback experience, playing the guitar with some amp directly and connecting it without the wires is something that is highly useful.

If you want to play the guitar with some amp directly and connect it without the cables, this is something that you

3. Issues with the connectivity

In conclusion, one of the most typical issues that may arise with the Nux B2 connectors is the possibility that they will not function as expected because of problems that can occur with the connectivity between each other.

This is one of the challenges that you will need to overcome. Due to the fact that they operate on the 2.4 GHz band, you will need to make sure that there is not a Wi-Fi network in close vicinity to any of these devices.

This is because having a Wi-Fi router nearby can cause the signals to become garbled.

Wifi Network

In the event that the router is positioned adjacent to any of these other devices, it will prevent them from functioning correctly.

You will also have to be observant of the distance, and the space that works best for both of them is 15 meters, so you should observe it as though it were the optimal distance.

Therefore, it is essential for you to check that the distance between the two locations, as well as the presence of any other devices, does not cause any interference with the frequency.

On these devices, you should be able to have the best possible experience when it comes to your connections.

However, going forward, you will also need to be careful with batteries and ensure that they are connected correctly when the battery has been fully charged.

You’ll be relieved to know that the pair comes equipped with a battery indicator, which will be of great assistance to you in doing the task at hand.

4. Mismatched Frequencies

It might not make sense, yet things like that do occur. It may be possible for you to attach the wireless transmitter to either of the two ends at various times. This happens as a direct result of the disparity in frequency.

Here is how to determine whether or not the operational frequency range of the wireless receiver and the operating frequency range of the wireless mic/transmitter are correctly matched.

Nux B2 Transmitter and Receiver

Locate the operating frequency range that is marked on the receiver, and check if it has the capability of receiving 256GHz. Check to see if the frequency range of the wireless mic and transmitter are the same.

The frequency ranges have to be an exact match; if they are not, your wireless system will not function in any way, structure or form.

On the opposite side of both your transmitter and receiver is a list of operating frequencies that may be easily read.

5. Battery Life

The main concerns of some users are the battery life and any disconnect issues it may have. It has four channels, syncs right up, is easy to use and goes into battery sleep mode after a minute or so of muting your signal.

The battery problem can happen due to unusual habits of charging the batteries. Sometimes the battery is put on charge for hours even after it has completed charging. This can seriously affect the battery’s health and life.

The usual battery timing of Nux B2 reported by users is about 3-5 hours. But if your wireless connector is not lasting this long, consider changing the battery and charging habits.

The Bottom Line

So, these are some common problems reported by users about Nux B2. Problems with your wireless transmitters might be similar. You can try the methods mentioned above to solve these problems.

Despite these minor problems, Nux B2 is considered one of the best transmitters to connect your guitar.

  1. Right from the get-go, my Nux transmitter/receiver would start to malfunction after about an hour of use (Martin OM21 with Baggs pickup, Peavy portable PM) and no long stay “live” at the Receiver end. When I plug them into the recharger I get three strong “greens” and one green blinking – that means they are almost fully charged, but don’t work more than 60 minutes. Once I get four solid greens, they work fine – for a bout an hour.

  2. My transmitter has to be pulled a quarter inch out of my Bass in order for it to transmit. This problem just started. The Nux is about a year old. Any help would be much appreciated.

  3. My band uses a Midas MR18 mixer that is run by a laptop connected by wi-fi. The Nux wireless system that I putchased is totally uaeless due to this. The receiver is on my pedalboard, and I’m standing right over it but the skipping in and out is horrendous. Do you really think it’s possible for a musician to always be 15 meters away from a router?
