It doesn’t look like most of the members of this orchestra knew what the trombone players were planning during the playing of Prokofiev’s “Dance of the Knights” from Romeo and Juliet.
The two trombonists, bass trombonist and tuba player had a surprise in store for them. Just when you think they’re playing along as normal, they throw in an unexpected twist. Just make sure you stick around until the end of the clip.
I wonder if John Williams got his inspiration from this piece?
