Moment tip: A 10 lb fixture at 5 ft creates 50 lb-ft before the boom, cables, or wind are counted. Moving the load 1 ft inward often removes more risk than adding a small bag.
Stand tip: Sandbags resist overturning only when they are on the correct leg and cannot slide. They do not increase clamp rating, riser strength, floor grip, or safe operating height.
