Playing The Vivaldi On The Bus Because This Orchestra Was Getting Late For The Concert

It is not that surprising. It was just a once in while casual recital in the bus. But, there is the key. If you are traveling all day long, then the last thing you want to miss is your next connecting flight. But, this was what happened to an orchestra. The name of the Orchestra was Venice Baroque Orchestra. They were touring across America when they missed their next connecting flight. They were about to play Vivaldi’s concertos alongside violinist Nicola Benedetti.

But they did not show any sign of frustration on that very day. Instead of shouting and complaining about life, they played Vivaldi’s Concerto No. 2 in G minor “Summer”. This was performed as a sign of gratitude towards the bus driver. This performance was totally unprepared and this really surprised the bus driver.

The most surprising element of this performance is that they fit all their massive instruments on the bus and played it really well. The bus was not as big as a stage. So, we will never know how they actually did it. The best thing is that they even got the concert on time.
