Nels Cline is one of the most influential jazz guitarists of his generation. His style includes elements as diverse as fusion, alternative rock and jazz playing, and his sound is unlike anyone else. He is particularly associated with the use of the Fender Jazzmaster guitar (ironically, he is one of the few jazz guitarist who uses a Jazzmaster!) and many fun effect pedals.
