The problem is that video time doesn’t map easy to tempo as an integer. Set your DAW to play at 120 beats per minute, then edit using twenty-four frames per second: the beat will split evenly. How to Fix Music and Video Timing
People also often forget that if you don’t set the note value correctly, which is important when using dotted notes, the calculator won’t know what you mean. For example, if you use a dotted quarter note for your tempo map, which many people do because of 6/8 time signatures, the beat isn’t actualy a quarter note. Instead, it is one and a half times longer than a standard note. Unless you adjust this option, all your bars will be out by factor of one point five.
