💡 Tip 1 — Semitone Calculation: To transpose a frequency by N semitones, multiply by 2^(N/12). For example, A4 (440 Hz) up 7 semitones = 440 × 2^(7/12) = 659.26 Hz (E5). Going down uses a negative exponent.
💡 Tip 2 — BPM-Synced LFO: To sync an LFO to a quarter note at BPM X, use: LFO Rate (Hz) = BPM / 60. For eighth notes divide by 30, for half notes divide by 120. At 120 BPM: quarter = 2 Hz, eighth = 4 Hz, half = 1 Hz.
