Musical places come in all forms and sizes. Any space used for concerts or musical shows is a music site. One finds them from humble cafes for folk shows to open stages under the sky or even vast covered sports stadiums.
Various kinds of such places usually attract different types of music.
Small, Medium and Big Music Places
There is no single accepted way to estimate the Music Venue Capacity of sites. One method calls small at capacity under 1 000, medium between 1 000 and 5 000 while big goes past 5 000. Other than that, one can consider small under 200, medium from 200 to 1 000, and big for everything more than 1 000.
Everything depends on the situation. For instance, a club with 1 000 seats could seem small in a city if nearby stands a huge amphitheatre.
Events with more than 5 000 people usually count as big according to the most common rules. Usually local, state or federal laws control such events above that limit. A concert hall of that type can accept between 5 000 and 20 000 folks, and some far bigger arenas or open festival areas reach even higher numbers.

Some of those tiny sites, around 250 seats, give a real feeling of close contact, even though they manage too invite really notable artists.
