Being able to transcribe music is an important skill, especially for composers and jazz musicians. It is a lot of fun and it’s also a great ear training exercise. Nowadays, creating your own sheet music is incredibly simple especially with software programs such as Finale and Sibelius. But, what about transcribing something else than just plain melodic lines? The known expression “any sound can make music” is so true, especially in this video! The makers thought it would be really fun to see what a good laughter would look like written out as sheet music. And the result is quite hilarious indeed.
