“Music Painting” by Alice Ninni is a charming animation of the song “Lacrime de Giulietta” by Matteo Negrin in which the musical notation is the basis for a scrolling illustrated story about humanity and nature.
The video was shot in one single take (15 hours long), painting on a 12-meter paper sheet (obtained by joining together thirty A3 sheets). Then, after a long editing process, the 15 hours became the actual 3:30 minutes of the video, synchronizing each painted note with the played one.
