The World Percussion Group has great players and they always find a way to remind us where they are the elite of percussion players. In one of the most unique arrangements of Bach, the group posted a video of Bach’s prelude being played on the marimba by Hsin-Hsuan Wu and Samuel Chan.
This was quite a feat as the musical piece and the instrument come from two different eras. Amazingly, Bach’s music sounded great on the marimba thanks to some inspired performance.
